Fashion Show
THE ORIENTAL FASHION SHOW IN PARIS… A LOOK BACK IN PICTURES AT TWO EXCEPTIONAL DAYS
“The Oriental Fashion Show unveiled the Autumn/Winter 2019 collections of renowned Oriental, Russian, and Asian designers. It brings together around a hundred renowned designers from 40 different nationalities. This Oriental Fashion Show is a true incubator for designers. It is considered the leader in its sector. Its mission is to reveal to the world the richness of artisanal crafts, sartorial heritage, and the talent of designers from all backgrounds in the East.
However, the Oriental Fashion Show Paris is not merely a series of fashion shows; it is a vocation: to deploy a pluralistic Oriental legacy in a market with a unique positioning between culture and luxury. The Oriental Fashion Show chose two exceptional palaces as its setting, illustrating the art of hospitality, excellence, and the enchantment of venues that symbolize the spirit of the Oriental Fashion Show.
Since 2004, Hind Joudar, president of the association “Route de la Soie et d’Al Andalus,” has worked tirelessly for the influence and expertise of Oriental culture, particularly by promoting the sartorial heritage of the caftan. Her efforts have not been in vain, as today, Oriental fashion represents a dream in the world of luxury, and many contemporary designers have drawn inspiration from it.”
Monaco Madame
“This year, the Oriental Fashion Show had the immense honor of hosting a guest like no other: the great Slava Zaitsev, the Russian Christian Dior. Founder of a major fashion school, he has trained numerous designers and stylists who are at the pinnacle of their art in Russia and internationally.”
